5 Things Fashola Plans To Do At Ministry Of Power, Works And Housing

It’s no longer news that immediate past Lagos governor, Babatunde Fashola has been appointed Nigeria’s minister of power, works and housing.

Some have described the position given to Fashola who undoubtedly turn around the fortune of Lagos state while he was governor as the defacto vice president. Some described Fashola’s position in Buhari’s administration as Buhari’s real change agent.

Here are 5 things he promised to do to turn the fortune of the newly merged ministry around.
1. “I’m interested in how best to harness the available human resource assets in the ministry and the physical assets.”
2. “All information will assist us as we hit the ground running. We need to do more so as to regain lost time.”

Fashola was received with ovation by workers at the Federal Secretariat at 3.15 pm on Wednesday, November 11 and was ushered into the office by Mrs Grace Papka, the Director in charge of Human Resources of the ministry.
