Alison-Madueke Appears In Court

The former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, appeared before London’s Westminster Magistrate Court on Monday, October 5, at about 10 am over charges of corruption and money laundering, Sahara Reporters reports.
She appeared in court with her mother, Beatrice Agama, and Melanie Spencer.

The former minister’s case came to the attention of law enforcement agents in the UK when she used her mother to purchase a posh apartment in Westminster.
However it has not been confirmed if Mrs. Alison-Madueke will be charged alongside her mother and possibly an aide.
The identity of the other two people who were arrested with the former minister have not yet been identified.
