See How Father Of Five Was Killed With Occult Ring In Ibadan

Mumini Muritala, 40, who was a father of five, was beaten black and blue and then killed with an occult item over a dispute with his landlord’s son.
A forty-year old father of five, who lived at Omilabu area of Odinjo, was reportedly beaten black and blue on Friday night by landlord’s son and then killed with an occult ring.
Shakirat Muritala, the widow of the deceased man, told the press that before the incident her husband had a quarrel with the lanlord’s son, Ysuf Adegbayi, and his brother Habeeb because they locked the door too early.

“When my husband and daughter came back home, Yusuf and Habeeb went inside their rooms, but my husband went to them to enquire why they locked the door so quickly,” told Shakirat, adding that “this resulted in a heated argument and Yusuf slapped my husband, my husband wanted to retaliate, but the two boys pounced on him and beat him black and blue.”
The wife of the deceased told that Ysuf later came back and hit her husband with an occult ring, telling he would use it on him. “Suddenly, my husband turned around and fell on the ground,” Mumini’s wife said. “We rushed him to the hospital, but he later gave up.”
The police told that a suspect for murder is still at large, while his father, the landlord, was in police custody at the Idi Aro police station.
