AAG: Nigerian Army Contingent Wins Gold Medals

Three ladies from the Nigerian Army have made the nation proud at the on-going African games in Congo.
This follows reports that the trio of Lance Corporal Kehinde Obareh, Lance Corporal Edith Agu and Private Caroline Linus won gold and silver medals respectively in the Boxing event of the 11th African Games.
The trio won the medals on Sunday, September 13, 2015.
It would be recalled that Nigerian Army boxing team has been consistently coming out tops in competitions.
Other Nigerian Army athletes are participating in other events of the All Africa Games and more laurels are expected to be won by them for the nation.

Team Nigeria has won three gold medals and one silver medal so far in the Boxing event.
The team is still optimistic of more medals in boxing as the duo of Efe Ajagba and Apochi Efe Tobor both fighting in the heavyweight and super heavyweight classes respectively are yet to climb the roped arena.
